exacqVision Integrates with Hartmann Controls Access Control System

exacqVision now supports integration with Hartmann Controls Protector.net web-based access control system for faster response to critical alarms with immediate video verification.

Hartmann Controls develops the protector.net access control system, a web-based software utilizing the latest Microsoft Technologies for users to administer access control from any browser-enabled device.

This integration features:

  • Auto detects cameras within exacqVision to quickly find cameras within the list
  • Supports multistreaming cameras for multiple views from a single camera and to optimize video storage
  • Links access control events to video for instant search and playback minimizing investigation time
  • View live and recorded video within access control web interface

This integration requires exacqVision version 7.8 or later with a current exacqVision Professional or Enterprise license using Protector.net version 2.7.

Camosun College Utilizes Tyco Security Products for Complete Security Solution

Camosun College is a multi-campus, community college with a student population of approximately 16,000. Located in Victoria, British Columbia, the college offers more than 160 academic programs and includes two campuses.

exacqVision Video & Kantech EntraPass Access Control

exacqVision 7.2 introduced Kantech EntraPass integration, providing users with the ability to control doors and locks directly from the live view page of the exacqVision client. With this integration, door controls can be associated with cameras using exacqVision Camera Links. This integration puts the most needed access control commands at the operator’s fingertips to vastly improve response time to critical alarms and events.

The integration displays door status on maps and allows for configuration of Event Linking actions triggered by EntraPass door status alerts. All exacqVision users can see the door status on linked cameras, but must input Kantech permissions to operate doors.
